Councillor Gary Wilson
Councillor Wilson is a dedicated Parish Councillor committed to supporting and representing the interests of local residents. With a strong belief in transparency, accountability, and effective local governance, he works closely with fellow councillors and community stakeholders to help ensure the parish remains a welcoming and thriving place to live.
Alongside his council responsibilities, Gary has a particular interest in data protection, information governance, and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). He is passionate about helping organisations manage personal information responsibly and promoting best practices that protect privacy while supporting efficient and transparent public services.
Drawing on his professional experience in accountancy, Gary brings a practical and detail-oriented approach to local decision-making. He is especially interested in improving council processes, strengthening community engagement, and ensuring that residents can have confidence in how information is managed and safeguarded.
Outside of his council duties, Gary enjoys playing football and cricket as well as supporting his children with their various activities and remains actively involved in community life, supporting initiatives that benefit local residents and enhance the parish for future generations.
