Village Hall

Thornwick St Mary Village Hall is a multi-purpose recreation centre which has been serving our local community for over 40 years. The land for the village hall and playing field was gifted in 1971 by local farmer, Lotser Watts “for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Thornwick St Mary”.

The village hall is conveniently located in the village centre and comprises two halls, both with access to a patio courtyard adjacent to a children’s play area and playing field. Car parking is available.

Classes and groups meeting regularly at the hall include badminton, pilates, yoga, and events include quiz nights, coffee mornings, jumble sales, Christmas market as well as national celebration events.

Either or both halls are available for hire and are a great destination for private functions – parties, receptions, celebrations, presentations etc.

Free Wi-Fi is available - both halls have kitchen facilities and the large hall has a stage.

Thornwick St Mary Village Hall is a registered charity No. 901117 which is administered by a committee of trustees elected in accordance with its Deed of Governance dated 2nd March 1943.
