4. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The minutes of the meeting held on 10 March 2026 were RESOLVED as a true record and signed.
5. Matters Arising
The rebuild of the churchyard boundary wall had been completed and signed off. The Council recorded its thanks to Netherfield Building Services for the quality of the work, and to St Mary's PCC for its patience during the works.
6. Planning
The decision notice for the Long Acre Farm solar array application had been received: approved by Averbury District Council, subject to conditions requiring landscaping/screening and retention of the hedgerow along footpath FP12, as the Council had requested. RESOLVED to note, with thanks.
7. Mobile Signal – Netherfield Road
The network operator had responded to confirm that an upgrade to the mast serving the Netherfield Road area was planned, currently indicated for late 2026. It was agreed the Clerk continue to monitor progress and press for an earlier date if possible.

The first instalment of the 2026/27 precept, £19,750.00, was received from Averbury District Council during April and is reflected above. The Clerk confirmed insurance renewal quotations would be obtained ahead of the May meeting, and that draft annual accounts for 2025/26 were being prepared for internal audit ahead of the Annual Meeting.
9. Neighbourhood Plan
The date for the public drop-in meeting was confirmed as Tuesday, 9 June, at Thornwick Village Hall.
